Wondering who could be behind all these characters?
Two passionate educators and friends from New York have partnered up to take on a new dimension to Islamic blogging. They love to write and illustrate and have so many ideas on parenting the Muslim child and other aspects of life, that they want to share it with the rest of the world!
They also realized so many sisters out there have incredible ideas of their own, so they have created a team of writers to contribute to Jannahsteps.
Our main contributor:
Yasmin Jawed is from New York. She is a mother of two and takes pride in taking an active role in her children’s education. With her MBA by her side, she will be assisting Jannahsteps with their future projects Inshallah.
Our guest writers:
Mahnaz Nazir is a very talented young writer and editor. She has a strong background in education and loves to teach. She has taught in Islamic schools and currently resides in New York.
Sadia Masroor is a talented designer and has created beautiful posters and Eid cards for some of our posts. She is a part of Jazba, a group of ardent Muslimahs who strongly believe that Islam is the ‘backbone’ of liberal women, providing them the biggest support in terms of respect and rights.
Noreen Ahmed is from Bangalore, India. She has majored in Journalism and her passion is teaching and writing.
